Common questions

What does SellerArmor do?

We monitor your Amazon FBA account every day through the Selling Partner API, surface reimbursable discrepancies (inbound shipment shortfalls, refund-without-return, removal-order shortages, fee overcharges, transit/handling damage), and draft case appeals for you to review and submit yourself in Seller Central. We never file cases on your behalf.

What does the audit actually see in my account?

Read-only access to four SP-API role groups: Amazon Fulfillment; Inventory & Order Tracking; Finance & Accounting; Selling Partner Insights. We pull Inventory Ledger, Settlement, FBA Reimbursements, Inbound Shipments, Customer Returns, Removal Shipments, and Fee Preview reports. We do not request write scopes, so we cannot edit listings, change prices, file cases, or modify any setting in your Seller Central account. Full role list and posture on /compliance.

How do I disconnect SellerArmor from my Amazon account?

Sign into Amazon Seller Central → Apps & Services Manage Apps → find SellerArmor → click Revoke. Once Amazon notifies us, we delete the encrypted refresh token within 24 hours and purge ingested account data within 30 days. Audit-trail rows are retained for seven years per §4.2.

How do I export my data?

Email privacy@sellerarmor.com from the address tied to your account. We respond within five business days with a CSV or JSON archive covering your sellers, discrepancies, filed cases, outcomes, and audit log.

How do I delete my SellerArmor account?

Sign in → Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. You’ll be asked to type your email and re-enter your password to confirm. On submit, your auth record is hard-deleted and the foreign-key cascade unwinds every row tied to your user_id (sellers, parsed reports, discrepancies, filed cases, audit log).

I forgot my password.

On the login page, click Forgot password? Enter your email and we send you a single-use link that expires after one hour. Open it and set a new password (minimum 12 characters).

I lost access to my authenticator app (MFA).

We don’t generate recovery codes yet. Email support@sellerarmor.com from the address tied to your account. We verify ownership (typically a short identity check) before resetting your factor.

My password reset email never arrived.

Check spam first — verification emails come from noreply@sellerarmor.com via Resend. Add the address to your contacts so future ones land cleanly. If it’s still missing after fifteen minutes, request another one from the same page, or email support@sellerarmor.com and we’ll trigger a reset manually.

Where is my data stored?

Primary database in Supabase’s ca-central-1 (Montréal, Canada)region; application hosting on Vercel’s iad1 US East edge. Encryption at rest is AES-256 on disk, plus per-account AES-256-GCM for OAuth refresh tokens. Full posture on /compliance.

I see a charge I don’t recognize.

Subscription billing isn’t live yet — the free audit and current dashboard usage cost nothing. If you received a charge attributed to SellerArmor, email support@sellerarmor.com with the transaction details so we can confirm.

I think my account has been compromised.

Sign in → Settings → Sign out of every device to revoke every active session. Then change your password (Settings → Reset password) and email security@sellerarmor.com so we can investigate. If you have MFA enrolled, attackers without your authenticator can’t reach an aal2 session even with the password.
